AYLØ Clairsentience EP
Today, AYLØ, a rising star in Nigeria’s alté scene, releases his latest EP ‘Clairsentience.’ The project, out now on Soulection Records, fuses the distinct sounds of Western Africa that include alternative R&B, neo soul, hip hop and afropop.
Earlier this year, AYLØ released the single “Romantic,” which OkayAfrica lauded as a “meditative affair” and Culture Custodian described as a “welcome sound diversion that still banks on [AYLØ’s] desire for sonic perfection.” With a gliding melody that cuts through delicate percussion, the song is a touching ode to love.
In another lush live performance, the “Romantic” video features the singer’s magnetic stage presence, A1 fashion sense and undeniable groove.
